1. Essential operation

5. No advertising profiling

Harmony does not place behavioural advertising pixels on the editorial pages described by this policy. We do not sell cookie identifiers to data brokers. A linked third-party site may have a different practice. Read the external provider’s notice before continuing.

6. Managing choices

The banner offers Accept and Reject controls. Visitors can also delete cookies through browser settings or use private browsing. Blocking all storage may affect the banner’s ability to remember a choice, but article reading remains the intended core function. We do not make the banner disappear automatically.

7. Third parties

Hosting, security and embedded functions, if present, may set technical cookies under their own documented terms. Harmony reviews integrations before deployment and limits them to a reasonable purpose. We do not knowingly embed tools that require a visitor to create a financial account. 8. Retention and expiry

Session identifiers expire within 24 hours or at session end. The cookieChoice preference persists until deletion, with a review target of 12 months. Optional analytics records, where enabled, are configured for short retention and aggregation. Exact browser behaviour can vary by device.

9. Privacy rights

Cookie-related information may be covered by access, deletion or objection rights described in the privacy policy. Send a request to Harmony with the device and approximate date if a technical record must be located. We may not be able to identify an anonymous browser record. We will explain the result.
